Jennifer Berthiaume Returns for Third Term on Murphy City Council
Following a successful four years
as Mayor Pro Tem (a leadership
position on Council), and a total
of six years on Council, Jenny has
filed her paperwork for her re-
election campaign and has found
that she is running unopposed.
In her tenure on Council, Jenny
has been instrumental in
supporting Murphy Fire Rescue
and Murphy Police, educating
young people in the community
about civic issues, advocating for a measured approach on taxes and fees (lowering them whenever possible!), being proactive about taking care of our aging water/wastewater/stormwater utilities and streets/sidewalks, and most importantly, outreach and education for her fellow residents so that they feel armed with the knowledge to participate in local issues.
Elections will take place on May 7, 2022, with an early voting period from April 25 through May 3.
