Jennifer Berthiaume Returns for Third Term on Murphy City Council

Following a successful four years
as Mayor Pro Tem (a leadership
position on Council), and a total
of six years on Council, Jenny has
filed her paperwork for her re-
election campaign and has found
that she is running unopposed.

In her tenure on Council, Jenny

has been instrumental in

supporting Murphy Fire Rescue

and Murphy Police, educating

young people in the community

about civic issues, advocating for a measured approach on taxes and fees (lowering them whenever possible!), being proactive about taking care of our aging water/wastewater/stormwater utilities and streets/sidewalks, and most importantly, outreach and education for her fellow residents so that they feel armed with the knowledge to participate in local issues.

Elections will take place on May 7, 2022, with an early voting period from April 25 through May 3.

Jenny has been a strong advocate
for residents in the areas of

Elections will take place on May 4, 2019, with an early voting period from April 22 through 30. The last day to register to vote is April 4th -- check your voter status at https://apps.collincountytx.gov/voterregsearch/.

Jennifer Berthiaume Announces Campaign Bid for Murphy City Council

After participating for many years

as a member on the Planning &

Zoning Commission and Murphy

Community Development
Corporation (MCDC) / 4B Board,

Jenny's campaign centers around

the concepts of transparency and
education for residents, and

stepping up to speak up for her neighbors in property tax and planning & zoning issues. She would also like to see some modernization take place in the City, especially in her own area of expertise -- geospatial information systems (GIS).

Elections will take place on May 7, 2016, with an early voting period from April 25 through May 1.
